We are collecting stories, interviews, artifacts, art, music, and other ideas that can help share past and present examples of racism and resistance in Seattle and surrounding Coast Salish lands.

A snapshot of when it all began: We know that when white colonizers first came to this area, the Duwamish people along with other tribes helped them survive. In the 150 years since then, there have been many acts of racism and racist policies, as well as many acts of solidarity and anti-racism.
